World Architecture Culture Tour – Holland Schiphol Airport Hilton Hotel
The Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has an impressive cubic shape with diamond-shaped windows. The hotel is located at the intersection of the main road of the airport, and the shape is rotated 45 degrees in accordance with the venue.
As the Hilton Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands is so close to the road, the entire hotel is more focused on creating interior space, and should be close to the airport terminal, the hotel’s overall interior style is biased towards commercialization. The building’s grey and white seating base color palette combines intersecting lines to create a distinctive diamond-shaped block pattern. This not only made the hotel stand out in the environment, but also weakened the confusion of the building floor.
The Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol features fresh, bright spaces with aluminum ceilings for interior passages, including executive lounge and meeting rooms, as well as interior gardens and art collections, and fascinating geometric design.
