Aluminum Decoration Of The Library Building Of Southern University Of Science And Technology

The Southern University of Science and Technology Library is located in the center of the campus. The library has a simple and sleek appearance and is a unique landscape on the campus.

After considering the factors such as the façade scale, structural bearing capacity, machinable structural size and local shading demand, the exterior wall of the library is finally assembled with silver-gray aluminum veneer staggered to make the building exterior wall waterproof. Insulation is shaded in one function.

The library’s cross-shaped veranda uses orange high-strength cement fiberboard as ceiling and wall covering materials.

The ceiling of the library’s internal reading area and rest area is made of metal stretch net, which makes the interior space of the building have a good permeability while maintaining the overall feeling.

The grey atrium is used in the atrium and passage area of the library, and the grille serves as a decoration and protection.
