Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, the water landscape is the core theme of the design concept of the entire sports park, stadium and media center. The building is located on several islands raised in the artificial lake. The water surface is connected like a ties. The rounded gymnasium leaves a soft border outside and forms a straight edge outside the swimming pool. The structure of the building is the same, the similar styling techniques and similar materials are used to depict the simplicity and order of the building complex. The large-span steel arch structure, with a triangular large-coated Curtain wall aluminum veneer covering the keel structure, forms a two-way curved arch surface, which is reminiscent of the spectacular sight of the thousand sails from a distance.
